Technical difficulties

Post by mooshika »

As I listen to AliceFM now, there's a weird glitch that sometimes happens. The audio zips forward quickly at some moments, as if someone were hitting the fast-forward button intermittently.

But the problem comes and goes. It stopped happening, at least temporarily, at about the time I started drafting this post.

Hrm, My guess is something to do with your connection? Certainly I listen all the time and have never noticed...

If anyone else notices please let me know!

My experience is that the "stop" button ( II ) doesn't stop loading the music stream. So if I hit the button again to resume playing, I'm behind the broadcast. I can imagine that zipping forfard can happen then; I recall vaguely that it happened to me.
The solution is to refresh the webpage. You'll see the "Listen now!" link again and if you click it, you're in time with the broadcast.
