Happy Alice day VoA Members!

Each year we celebrate this day April 25th in the remembrance of the day that "Lewis Carroll" met 4yo "Alice Liddell" which led Carroll to write that most famous tale for her called "Alice in Wonderland". It was this friendship and special love that we celebrate each year on this day.

So I hope each of you will enjoy this special day for GLers and the Alice's we have in our own lives.

In the spirit of Alice day, the team would like to offer the members of VoA gifts of our own. So here is a list of things that the staff has decided to put together for our members and the GL community:

1st I would like to start off with a special gift from Moderator Haggis. With support from World Unity Radio, Haggis wanted to share with you a special "Alice Day Radio broadcast. This special broadcast is a 2 hr show long packed with songs, a special message from Cartograph, and the announcement of a very new project coming soon to VoA called “Alice-FM”. So please visit World Unity radio station and check out DJ-Haggis show at 3 PM EST for our special Alice Day broadcast

VoA chat room also has some new changes. Lanasgirl has worked his magic and gave us some new themes for the chat room. Most notably a theme for Alice day that is amazingly cute and match the new Alice day Banner you you see above. So I hope you guys can join us in the chat room and check out some of the new themes that Lanasgirl created for us. In addition to the new themes, Andexiia made some software changes to the chat room sound setting and added some other kewl changes to enhance your experience while you are in the chat room. To change the volume in chat, go to the Settings tab
There you can find [Sound Volume] and choose which percentage level you want from the dropdown menu.
Press one of the play buttons underneath to test your volume settings.
Satisfied with the new volume? Click the Settings icon again.

We also are introducing a new feature which was requested by a member here.
Underneath other member’s names there is now a link called "View profile" which opens a new tab and shows the members profile page.
The chat room will be open all day tomorrow, 4/25, for Alice day so all of you newly promoted Active members please join us to celebrate Alice day with us.
